It’s simply him being kidnapped repeatedly by possessive, powerful women who kill easily and die just as easily. And all of this as an emotionless, disconnected way of catching up the story and gaining him powers at an exaggerated rate with 0 effort. _ I loved this story for the deep, intimate grind.
